Introduction
This page is a collection of intriguing, mysterious and downright goofy infromation about the (official) Sonic the Hedgehog line of games. It deals with everything from Sonic the Hedgehog on the Master System to Sonic Adventure
on SEGA Dreamcast. It's basically an archive of weird STH data the author has collected since 1998, when Andre Alex Dirk had shown the world his interesting Sonic 2 cartridge. Most of the info here is exclusive unless it was "borrowed" by others. Meaning there is stuff here you won't find anywhere else! The original authors of the finding have been listed where I myself am not the author. |

Sonic 2 (Page 3)
We're done with stages, let's look at some other Sonic 2 stuff.
The middle ones are from Metropolis; one is used in its background, the other isn't. The bottom one is most intriguing; it shows...something...falling into...something. It's probably a rock falling into water, or a collapsing platorm from Dust Hill falling into sand... This article was submitted by Collie. Not only it mentiones Sonic 2 for Mega CD, if you look at that Oil Ocean pic you might notice that there is something wrong with Sonic's sprites. But that's a Sonic 2 Beta sun... And the score counter say 0, so they must have gotten there with Level Select, which was (still) implented as default back then. Wait, though...Chemical Plant counter, on the other hand, says 200...so the zone had badniks, and they couldn't get there by playing normally since Green Hill alone would have given them 500+ points. So what we have there is another step forward in Sonic 2 evolution. Previous Page - Home |
