Review on Sonic Robo Blast: Special Fiddlesticks edition
=====================================
By Sonikku.

Cloning games sucks. Or at least, it used to.

Rotor Boom anyone? "Let's take Sonic Boom, make the graphics worse, replace some sprites and give the original author NO CREDIT! What a brilliant idea!"
Not quite.

Fiddlesticks on the other hand has done quite the opposite! "Let's take SRB1, actually make it fun, improve the graphics and music, replace the sprites
with considerably better ones and give the original author credit! What a brilliant idea!" Oh yes.

Everyone knows that SRB1 is no longer King of the fan-made games hill, it never deserved to be. It was 'okay' two years ago, when it was first made , but now it's been spat it and thrown into the dust by a lot of newer fan-games. SRB1 wasn't really all that much fun. It was very bugged, the graphics looked like they were done by an 11/12 year old armed with MS Paint (which they were. =D) and,
unless you could be actually bothered to finish it,
the fun secrets were low. I think Sorok was still
over-generous by giving me a 'B' for this.

Enough on going about the past! Fiddlesticks has
taken SRB1 and redone it to actually be fun. New
graphics, new gameplay elements.. WOW.

Obviously - being a two Zone demo, it's not
complete, you still can't get rings and hit badniks,
but as I said - it's only a demo.

But I think I could honestly say that I had more
fun with this than the original! Good work,
Fiddlesticks, and I hope you complete it - it'll
be fun to play!
